The Institute is operating from a temporary campus at Ravangla, situated at an altitude of 2100 meter. The terrain is hilly and the weather remains cold and wet throughout the year. There is very limited infrastructure within the present campus. Limited accommodation is available with the Institute. Therefore, the student may have to make their own arrangements for staying in the town (outside the campus). Further, no institutional internet facility is available at off-campus hostels. Limited institutional conveyance facilities are available.
